Careers Scotland is part of Skills Development Scotland, Scotland’s new skills body. Careers Scotland has a clear and simple purpose - to help the people of Scotland secure the jobs of tomorrow.
Careers Scotland works together with other local organisations to link lifetime guidance to lifelong learning. The activities include provision of information, advice and guidance for learning, work, volunteering and personal development.
Careers Scotland designs products to help individuals develop Career Planning Skills. We also use products developed by others.
Careers Scotland works in partnership with business supporting the development of more employable and enterprising workers.
All of our activities have benefits for business and are most successful when supported by business.
We work closely with schools, colleges, universities, community learning providers and other teaching and learning organisations.
